– Send a Jar –
As social distancing is challenging, it is vital to maintain in order to keep our society healthy. During this time there have been many creative ideas on how people are staying connected and in touch with each other. From hosting a virtual happy hour to a virtual game night, everyone is working together to stay safe and connected.
Send a Jar was created as a fun way to stay connected during a time you cannot be together in person. Fill your jar with custom notes and digitally send them to whoever you want. Whether it is sending birthday messages, uplifting notes to a co-worker, love notes to a significant other, or quotes to a friend there are endless opportunities to brighten someone’s day!
We would love for you to consider placing a donation to Dress for Success, an international nonprofit that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life, in exchange for our services. We hope to continue to spread the love!

Hi, I am Amanda Scherer! I was born and raised in South Florida and graduated from Florida State University with an MBA. I am always trying to find unique ways to make people happy in a creative, thoughtful, and non material way. I am a firm believer in it is the thought that counts.
My passions include: golden doodle dogs, travel, fashion, art, technology, and finding local hidden restaurants.
I created Send a Jar because I wanted to have a digital way to make someone’s day by sending beautiful and inspiring messages through a unique and fun interface. I hope you enjoy using this as much as I do and I cannot wait to continue to grow this site.
